Hays Facilities Management are partnered with a leading CRE owner/developer to hire a Building Engineer for a notable asset in Boston.

Your new role

The job duties of the Building Engineer will include, among others:

- Oversight of MEP, PMs and equipment logs

- Handle all facets of building maintenance including technical and non-technical duties

- Perform inspections, temperature checks and make adjustments accordingly

- Operate and maintain water chillers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, air handlers and more

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- Experience supporting a commercial asset in excess of 500K sq. ft.

- Strong understanding of MEP

- Experience with steam heat highly preferred, but not required

- Industry licenses are a plus

What you'll get in return

Hourly rate of $48-$51 plus OT
