Our client is seeking a BSA in Vienna, VA

Role Description

The DNS team is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with hands on Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Cloud experience to develop/modify transactional email/push/SMS/Letter templates, implement personalization variables (AMPScript basics), validate Data Extension mappings, and support journey/triggered send configuration, testing, and monitoring. SMS/Push exposure and comfort reading simple API specs are nice to have. This role involves coordinating across teams to ensure backend templates align with business workflows, analyzing systems and data, and implementing technology solutions that enhance business processes.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to create and implement backend templates and integrations
• Support software releases and ensure smooth transitions to production
• Collaborate with business units to resolve issues and enhance functionality
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements
• Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and system designs
• Conduct system and data analysis using statistical and modeling techniques
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Research emerging technologies and align them with business goals
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies

Skills & Requirements

• Experience with Salesforce (preferred), HTML, SOAP UI API
• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud
• Experience with Workfront, ADO, Jira, or any other project management tools
• Strong analytical skills with experience in SQL
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and presentation software
• Ability to interpret complex data and recommend actionable solutions
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Hands-on experience, especially with:: Transactional email/push/SMS/letter templates, Personalization using AMPScript, Data Extension mappings, Journey/triggered send configuration and monitoring
• Adobe Experience Cloud: Experience with tools in this suite for marketing and customer experience.
• HTML: For email and message template development.
• SOAP UI / API Specs: Ability to read and interpret simple API specifications.
• SQL: Strong analytical skills using SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Project Management Tools: Experience with Workfront, ADO (Azure DevOps), Jira, or similar tools.
