Our client is seeking an Azure Security Consultant for remote opportunity.

Role Description

We are seeking an Azure Security Consultant to join our Cloud Security Architecture team. This role focuses on securing Microsoft Azure infrastructure, applications, and solutions through deep technical expertise in Azure resources, identity management, and Infrastructure as Code. You will collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to assess and enhance cloud security, implement cloud-native solutions, and embed security controls into CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical security consulting across Azure resources (Key Vaults, Databases, App Services, WAF, Front Door, Policy, etc.).
• Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to embed security controls into CI/CD workflows using BICEP templates.
• Conduct cloud security assessments for Azure-hosted and hybrid architectures, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
• Implement and maintain CNAPP solutions (e.g., Wiz, Orca, Palo Alto Prisma Cloud).
• Secure identity and access management (IAM) across on-prem and cloud environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, SSO, managed identities).
• Monitor and respond to cloud security incidents using SIEM/SOAR platforms and Azure-native tools.
• Document and communicate security findings and remediation strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements

• Ability to document and communicate security assessment findings, recommendations, and remediation strategies to a diverse audience, including technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
• Experience with Threat Modelling tools (Irius, Cairis, Kenna, Microsoft etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.

• Azure Security Certifications are a big plus.
