Our client is seeking a AV System Engineer in New York, NY.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled onsite AV Support Technician to support corporate meeting rooms, event spaces, video conferencing systems, and day-to-day audiovisual operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with Cisco AV/video conferencing equipment, and the ability to support both routine room checks and live event needs in a fast-paced corporate environment.

• Diagnose and resolve audio, video, connectivity, and configuration issues within meeting rooms and corporate event spaces.
• Support Cisco video conferencing kits and related AV equipment used for meetings, presentations, and events.
• Perform regular room condition checks to verify equipment functionality, cabling condition, room readiness, and overall user experience.
• Provide L2 support for escalated AV issues from staff performing meeting room checkouts or general onsite support.
• Assist with corporate events by setting up AV equipment, supporting live troubleshooting, and helping ensure smooth event execution.
• Execute meeting room refresh activities, including equipment swaps, cabling updates, room adjustments, and AV readiness validation.
• Manage onsite spare AV equipment and coordinate replacement of faulty equipment when needed.
• Administer the RMA process for broken AV equipment and maintain clear tracking of repair or replacement activity.
• Maintain organized inventory records for AV assets, spare equipment, and future equipment needs.
