Role Description

We are seeking an experienced AV & Collaboration Systems Specialist to own the reliability, readiness, and live execution of in office audio visual and collaboration environments across its Atlanta office locations.
This is a hands on, execution critical role, not an AV design or programming position. The specialist will support Microsoft Teams Rooms–centric conference rooms, executive meetings, hybrid collaboration use cases, and high visibility events. You will serve as the onsite escalation point for AV issues, provide white glove support for leadership meetings, and ensure rooms are production ready before critical sessions.
The contract / temp to hire structure allows both our client and the individual to validate fit, performance, and long term value, with a realistic and defined pathway to full time employment.
This role is ideal for an AV professional who prefers ownership, visibility, and hands on responsibility over static ticket based support.
Conference Room & Live Meeting Support
• Provide onsite, hands on support for conference rooms, executive meetings, town halls, and hybrid collaboration sessions
• Deliver white glove AV support for C suite leaders, investors, and senior stakeholders
• Remain present as needed during high visibility meetings to ensure uninterrupted execution
• Respond rapidly to live AV incidents with a focus on meeting restoration first
AV Troubleshooting & Incident Response
• Troubleshoot common and complex AV issues, including:
• Camera quality or framing problems
• Audio feedback, echo, or mic conflicts
• Frozen touch panels or failed joins
• Peripheral detection and room system failures
• Take a structured troubleshooting approach (start simple, escalate logically)
• Perform root cause analysis after meetings are restored to prevent repeat incidents
AV Readiness & Standardization
• Perform proactive testing and readiness checks before leadership and client meetings
• Maintain consistent configuration, firmware, and performance across rooms and locations
• Identify opportunities to simplify room setups and reduce operational risk
• Support standardization efforts while minimizing one off or custom configurations
Onsite Escalation & IT Collaboration
• Act as the final onsite escalation point for AV and hardware issues surfaced by offshore help desk teams
• Serve as the local “hands and eyes” for physical troubleshooting, resets, cable checks, and validation
• Communicate recurring issues, vendor gaps, and reliability risks to IT leadership
• Coordinate with internal IT, networking, security, facilities, and vendors as needed
Operational Flexibility
• Support occasional after hours meetings, executive events, or off site engagements
• Assist with AV equipment setup, testing, transport, and teardown when required
• Conference rooms and executive meetings run reliably with minimal disruption
• AV incidents are resolved quickly, with fewer repeat issues
• Leadership meetings are fully tested and supported end to end
• Offshore help desk teams are supported by strong onsite escalation and feedback
• AV environments become more consistent, stable, and predictable
• Microsoft Teams Rooms (primary collaboration platform)
• Logitech Rally / Rally Bar / Tap / peripheral ecosystem
• Crestron UC Engines and control systems (support and troubleshooting; no programming)
• Biamp DSP audio systems (room audio support and tuning)
• Zoom interoperability (Direct Guest Join, BYOD scenarios)
• Executive boardrooms, conference rooms, town halls, and hybrid meeting spaces
What This Role Is Not
• Not an AV design or engineering role
• Not a Crestron programming position
• Not a remote or desk only support role
Why This Role Matters
This role plays a direct part in how leaders collaborate, make decisions, and engage with partners. Success is visible, impactful, and trusted. For the right AV professional, this is an opportunity to own the environment, build credibility with leadership, and grow into a long-term role.

Skills and Requirement

• 5+ years of hands on experience supporting enterprise AV systems in corporate environments
• Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms in production settings
• Hands on support experience with Logitech room systems, Crestron UC hardware, and Biamp DSP
