Our client is seeking a Automation Change Management Analyst in Vienna, VA

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to lead the integration of Ansible and other automation platforms with ServiceNow ITSM. The ideal candidate will design and implement automated workflows that streamline change ticket creation, updates, and resolution across enterprise systems.

• Develop and maintain end-to-end automation workflows between ServiceNow and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Automate change ticket lifecycle: creation, approval, execution, and closure.
• Integrate ServiceNow with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Chef), and secrets management platforms (CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault).
• Use Ansible Certified Content Collection for ServiceNow to trigger jobs from incidents, requests, or catalog items. [Ansible Co...M - GitHub]
• Enrich ServiceNow tickets with external data (e.g., CVE details, system metrics) for faster resolution. [Create and...mation ...]
• Collaborate with DevOps, PKI, and security teams to ensure compliance and governance.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials for automation workflows.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including playbook development and job orchestration.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules: Change, Incident, Request, and Asset Management.
• Familiarity with cert-manager in Kubernetes, Venafi, and TLS certificate automation is a plus. [RE: Is thi...our group?]
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience with event-driven automation and observability tools (Splunk, ELK).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, NIST, FFIEC).
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ansible and other automation tools
• Experience implementing automation tools (ansible) into servicenow
• Experience automating change tickets
