Your new role
As the Assistant Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting a modern high‑rise office building in West Los Angeles. The property holds LEED Gold certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainability. Working closely with both the Property Manager and Asset Manager, you’ll help ensure smooth daily operations, strong tenant relationships, and full compliance with lease and safety requirements. This role requires sound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily building operations and ensure tenants receive timely, high‑quality service.
  • Act as a main point of contact for tenant questions, concerns, and service requests.
  • Coordinate vendor work, maintenance activities, inspections, and emergency responses.
  • Assist with lease renewals, compliance, and maintaining accurate tenant files.
  • Support AR/AP, rent collection, invoice processing, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate with facilities and vendors on repairs and improvements.
  • Manage tenant move‑ins, move‑outs, and suite readiness.
  • Maintain compliance records, insurance certificates, and company policy documentation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial property management or related real estate operations.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel/Word certifications a plus.
  • Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
  • College degree preferred; California Real Estate license a plus.
