Your new role

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to support the financial operations of a growing general contracting firm. This role will assist in managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting project accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, including job costing, WIP reporting, and subcontractor compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• CPA

• 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 within the construction industry

• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including percentage-of-completion and job costing

• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage 300 CRE, Viewpoint, or similar construction ERP systems)
