A rapidly growing, private‑equity‑backed organization in the advisory services space is looking for a highly organized and proactive Accounts Payable & Treasury Manager to help build and scale a best‑in‑class finance function. This role is based in Tampa and offers the opportunity to have a meaningful impact as the business expands through both organic growth and frequent acquisitions.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the full accounts payable lifecycle, ensuring that vendor payments, commissions, and operating expenses are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and internal teams, maintain strong working relationships, and support negotiations to optimize payment terms and working capital. You will also oversee corporate card administration and expense management, ensuring clear policy adherence, smooth onboarding, and consistent documentation and controls. Your treasury responsibilities will include managing bank account setup and maintenance, executing wires and ACH transactions, monitoring daily cash balances, and overseeing user access and online banking platforms. You will play an essential role in establishing treasury policies and procedures designed for a scaling, private‑equity‑backed environment.

What You Need to Succeed

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as three to seven years of experience in accounts payable, treasury, or accounting operations. Experience in a fast‑growing or private‑equity‑backed environment is highly beneficial. Familiarity with platforms such as Ramp, Brex, or other expense management tools, along with experience managing vendor relationships, will support success in this position. Experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks, multi‑entity environments, and bank account management are also advantageous.
