Our client is seeking a AI Risk Management Analyst in for a remote opportunity
Role Description
Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise cybersecurity programs, including risk management initiatives for strategic technologies defined by executive leadership. This role partners closely with Digital and Information Services, Infrastructure, Enterprise Risk Management, Privacy, Sourcing, Legal, and other business and clinical stakeholders to ensure that business applications and artificial intelligence solutions are properly assessed and managed for cybersecurity risk. The position evaluates existing systems and proposed technologies to ensure risks are identified, mitigated, and monitored effectively, while establishing reporting metrics to provide leadership with visibility into risk posture.
• Develop and perform risk assessments for evaluating cybersecurity risks in business applications and artificial intelligence initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain cybersecurity risk data across applications and AI projects.
• Collaborate with technology teams (e.g., Network, Applications, Database, Infrastructure, Server) and business stakeholders to define and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Privacy and Legal teams to incorporate regulatory and compliance requirements into risk management practices.
• Perform periodic security risk assessments for applications and AI technologies.
• Deliver training and guidance to cross-functional teams on application and AI security best practices.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, evolving threat landscapes, and best practices in application, AI, and healthcare cybersecurity.
• Align application and AI risk management programs with industry frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF 2.0/NIST AI RMF) through documented control mappings.
• Collaborate on security compliance testing and validation activities.
• Develop templates, standards, and procedures to support consistent program adoption and compliance.
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2-3 years’ experience and understanding of application security risk.
• 1–2 years of experience in AI Risk Management
• Strong project management background
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, NIST AI RMF)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to provide thought leadership and continuously mature cybersecurity programs aligned to industry standards
• Security and/or GRC certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, OCEG)
• Certifications or formal training in AI technologies
• Working knowledge of emerging AI regulatory frameworks, particularly within healthcare – Chai Framework preferred.
