About the Company
A global leader in the development and management of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to join their team!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all month-end close activities and preparation of management accounts under
IFRS and US GAAP. - Manage and develop a team of two accounting professionals.
- Ensure financial accuracy, maintain strong internal controls, and safeguard balance sheet integrity.
- Partner closely with Asset Management, Investment Management, lenders, investors, and external partners to support business performance and reporting requirements.
- Oversee distributions, consolidations, audits, tax-related schedules, and variance analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across accounting systems and reporting processes.
- Provide actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and delivering high-quality financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.
- Background in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and exposure to tax equity structures highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
