Demolition company hiring a Project Manager / Estimator in Chicagoland

Company Overview:
A highly successful construction services company looking to hire a Project Manager to join their growing operations. As a Project Manager you will play a critical leadership role in establishing and growing the demolition arm of the business. Ideally looking to connect with professionals with a background in demolition who have been involved in Project Management and Estimating.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management & Execution: Manage all demolition projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes overseeing project scheduling, labor, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Estimating & Pricing: Use your experience to estimate project costs, including labor, equipment, and materials. Develop competitive bids and provide accurate pricing for demolition services, taking into account project scope, complexity, and risks.
  • Business Development & Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers. Present demolition services to potential clients and ensure we’re consistently delivering value. Leverage the company’s existing network of construction clients and contacts to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in demolition project management or estimating. Open to interiors demolition as well as structural and exterior demolition project experience.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion. Familiarity with project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Estimating & Pricing: experienced in estimating demolition jobs accurately, with a deep understanding of pricing strategies, labor costs, and material requirements.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Experience in leading teams, managing labor, and working cross-functionally with other departments. Ability to inspire and develop a high-performance team.
  • Client Engagement: Strong ability to build relationships with clients and present solutions confidently to potential prospects.
  • Education: A degree or certification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus, but not required.

  • Base salary in the range of 80K - $100K, assessed case by case on skill and experience levels.
