A regional leader in commercial construction is seeking a traveling superintendent to deliver project success!

Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Dallas, Texas and Southern US sites
Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000 Base Salary (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned and driven Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial construction projects across the U.S. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record of managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel out of state and will be supported with comprehensive travel accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, schedules, and inspections.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.
  • Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to monitor progress and quality.
  • Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Demonstrated success managing ground-up and/or renovation projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel out of state for extended periods.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant degree or certifications a plus.
