Dallas-based GC is seeking multiple traveling superintendents to deliver projects nationwide!

Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent
Location: Dallas, TX (Travel Required)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000 Base Salary (commensurate with experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in commercial construction, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel out of state for project assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Maintain daily logs, schedules, and reports to track project progress.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and ensure project alignment.
  • Lead site meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permits, and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Proven track record of managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel out of state for extended periods.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant degree or certifications a plus.
