Superintendent – K-12 Renovation & Commercial Projects

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction. Ideal candidates will have a background in K-12 school renovations, though those with strong ground-up commercial project experience will also be considered. This is a full-time, second-shift position based in Orlando (Orange County), with working hours from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and weekend availability as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily on-site operations for renovation and construction projects.

• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections to ensure timely project delivery.

• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, school officials, and municipal stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and resolve field issues proactively.

• Ensure minimal disruption to school operations during renovation work.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.

• Experience with K-12 school renovation projects is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with municipal construction standards and procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage night shifts and flexible weekend work.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and using construction management software.

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
