Your New Role
As a Financial Accountant within a team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of revenue recognition for financial reporting. Your responsibilities will span general ledger management, period-end close activities, and intercompany transactions. You will also contribute to the preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.
A critical aspect of this role involves applying your expertise in revenue recognition under IFRS 15 or ASC 606, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues, support process improvements, and maintain robust internal controls. This is a hands-on role that also offers the opportunity to participate in strategic projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in financial accounting, with a strong focus on revenue recognition under IFRS 15 or ASC 606.
Solid understanding of general ledger processes, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) and strong Excel skills.
