Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a CRE owner to hire an Electrician/Building Engineer in the city of Boston.

Your new role

The duties of the Electrician/BE will include, among others:

- Maintenance and assessment of building electrical systems, including lighting, switchgear and fire alarm systems

- Assist with other building engineering duties like HVAC, Mechanical and Plumbing

- Perform PM’s, upgrades and fixes as needed to electrical systems, working with the Chief Engineer

- Assist with electrical system reviews for tenant improvement projects

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- Ability to read blueprints, understand codes and electrical schematics

- Should be versed in three-phase and single-phase systems, grounding and load-balancing

- Will have a basic understanding of HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS)

- * A Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license is required*

- Shift is 7AM-3PM, but can be flexible for the right candidates

What you'll get in return

Hourly rate of $50-$53, plus bonus/benefits
