Your new role

• Supporting the Superintendent in managing daily site operations and ensuring projects stay on schedule.
• Coordinating subcontractors to maintain workflow and quality standards.
• Ensuring safety compliance by enforcing regulations and conducting site inspections.
• Assisting with mechanical and general construction tasks related to HVAC, plumbing, and structural work.
• Monitoring quality control through inspections and documentation.
• Managing schedules and logistics to keep materials and labor organized.
• Troubleshooting issues and adapting to unexpected challenges on-site.
• Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates and maintain project alignment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in the trades or some experience in a field engineer or assistant superintendent position within a General Contractor.

• Degree in Engineering, construction management or similar in lieu of GC experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Knowledge of construction safety practices
