Cloud Support Technician – Contract – Raleigh, NC/Hybrid – $20.00 - $24.50/hr.
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Cloud Support Technician in Raleigh, NC/Hybrid.
Role Description
Cases (ie tickets) come through chat, email, and calls. If there are not calls, the CST’s are pulling cases out of the web queue.
• The average case (aka ticket) volume in the month of April was 1800 cases
About 1/3 of these tickets were esculated
The remaining tickets were solved and closed out
• They will average about 8-10 calls per day
• They will close out about 25 cases per week
• They use Salesforce for everything (doesn’t matter what ticketing systems they use)
• Phone provider: TalkDesk
• They may handle some alerts, but alerts are handled by another team.
Skills & Requirements
• They must be really good at troubleshooting; this is key!!!
• 2+ years experience in a help desk / customer support role
• Someone coming out of a technical trade school or Managed Service Provider (MSP)
• Basic Microsoft AD (password resets, security groups)
• MS365 support (experience should be working inside the 365 admin centers; they are looking for more than just the ability to create users)
• Basic Networking Fundamentals (IP address, Mac address, Layer 1 VS Layer 2)
• Proficiency in computer usage, internet, and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Troubleshooting skills: someone that not only knows VDI, however knows how to troubleshoot and not just use VDI tools
• Anyone that has experience in Azure Virtual Desktop or Citrix is key
• FortiGate
• SD-WAN management
• Advanced Networking – NAT, Subnet, VPN, FortiGate, vShield Edge
• Server Performance Monitoring
• N-able
• MSP experience
