Our client is seeking a Technical Product Owner in Denver, CO.
Role Description
Responsibilities:
• Partner with stakeholders and clients to articulate solutions to business issues.
• Promote, track and ensure the adoption and success of workflow systems.
• Craft a vision for a digital product or short to long-term capabilities and convert them into a concrete strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define and maintain a backlog of detailed requirements.
• Guide communication plans to ensure adoption and engagement with digital capabilities.
• Appraise ongoing enhancements and efficiencies to prioritize the highest value outcomes through data driven analysis
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Product Manager experience in Agile development environments in Telecom domain
• Experience as Product Manager in Cloud Infrastructure or Platform as a Service.
• Incorporating feature requests: Integrating new product features into the product roadmap.
• Define and prioritize product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experienced in creating Features as well as user stories for UI, APIs and backend design/business logic
• Grooming and prioritizing backlog: Organizing and ranking product backlog items based on their importance, grooming, and refinement efforts.
• Developing user stories: Creating concise descriptions of user needs for the development team.
• Organize epics, features and user stories in Jira to enable status tracking and requirements traceability
• Setting sprint goals: Determining objectives for each sprint cycle. Agile velocity. Guide agile development and maintain a healthy Product Backlog.
• Writing acceptance tests: Creating tests to confirm the product meets predefined criteria.
• Planning releases and upgrades: Scheduling product launches and updates. End client Demo, presentation, documentation skills.
• Following progress of work: Monitoring the progress of sprints and addressing issues. Continuously improve product features and performance.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing/Operational Testing (UAT/OT) to develop UAT plans and coordinate execution across teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, business users, and technical teams.
• Knowledge of technology to better understand business needs and Driving resolution of master data pain points, assessing business impact and value for initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring market trends, and ensuring the competitiveness and innovation, solution.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
