Our CLient is the leading supplier of engineering, equipment and service solutions to customers in the mining and cement industries.

Your new role

• Organizes and plans the use of painting and blasting equipment and materials for the various projects
• Ensures that the blasting and painting equipment is properly maintained and in a ready state of operation
• Operates spray-painting equipment with brushes and rolls to paint the surface
• Abrades surfaces of metal or hard-composition objects to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, and to impart specified finish using abrasive-blasting equipment
• Examines and measures finished surfaces to ensure conformance to specifications
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
• Willingness to cross-train and perform other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position

What you'll need to succeed

• 2 years’ experience preferred
• Experience with various coatings, prep work, and blasting methods
• Experience with multipart epoxies preferred
• Must have working knowledge of mill thickness, finish requirements, etc.
• NACE experience is a plus.
