Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading cultural institution in Manhattan to hire a Director of Building Operations & CAPEX.

Your new role

The job duties of the Director of Building Operations/CAPEX will include, among others:

- Oversight of a landmark building and 9-story cultural center/school

- Manage building operations, including maintenance, building systems/BMS, facilities budgets

- Develop a Preventive Maintenance plan/perform Capex projects as needed

- Manage space planning, renovations/upgrades, sustainability efforts

- Oversight of 3rd party contractors for facility-related issues and projects

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- Should have strong experience with BMS systems, HVAC/Boilers, MEP- (Alerton and Trane experience a plus)

- Experience with Landmark NYC buildings a strong plus

- Should have extensive capital expenditure project experience

- Relevant degree or Facilities Management certifications are highly preferred

Base salary range of $140-$150K, plus strong benefits
