A well-respected family-owned civil general contractor is looking for a Project Engineer. This contractor works on various projects for the NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYCDEP, and MTA. Their projects value between 25 million dollars to 500 million dollars and most projects are design-build projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects adhere to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
