Your new role
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA a must.
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the advertising or media industry is a plus.
