Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading non-profit in NYC to hire a Director of Facilities Operations.

Your new role
The job duties of the Director of Facility Operations will include, among others:
- Daily operational oversight of 2 campus sites in Manhattan (Upper East and Downtown)
- Manage facilities operations, including building engineering, planned shutdowns, capex projects, vendors and third parties
- Develop and maintain SOPs around Facilities Ops, including preventive maintenance schematics
- Manage building systems, CMMS, BMS
- Oversee a team of about 7–8 Engineers

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Strong understanding of building engineering, including MEP, BMS, CMMS, HVAC and more
- At least 4–5 years managing a team and driving operational FM forward
- Experience with pools is a strong plus (CPO preferred but not required)
- Certs like Q-01, FLSD, S-95 are highly preferred
