Our client is seeking a Business Development Specialist for a Remote opportunity.
Role Description
• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team. This is a 100% remote position, with a preference for candidates based on the East Coast of the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO) or Contract Research Organizations (CRO), with specific experience in APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
• Travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development within the CDMO or CRO sectors.
• Proven track record of success in developing and managing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and APIs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
