Our client is seeking a Research Associate in Princeton, NJ.
Role Description
Key responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the latest generation Phenocycler Fusion and Visium; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization.
• Operate and maintain the instruments.
• Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation. Prepare slides for analysis.
• Maintain an accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
• Perform routine data transferring.
• Assist in the development of new reagents.
Skills & Requirements
MUST HAVE LIST:
Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory.
Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required.
Quick learner/opening to learning
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
• Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
• Ideal candidates will be quick learners and comfortable with new technologies and have excellent hands-on and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Skills for effective and timely communication with colleagues.
• A 3-5 years of lab related experience preferred.
