Your new role

As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing, assisting, and monitoring the overall construction work for all assigned water/wastewater projects. This includes updating project schedules, managing labor costs, and coordinating self-performance and subcontractor work. You will ensure a safe workplace, control job progress, oversee field productivity, and communicate regularly with Project Management to troubleshoot job challenges and provide updates.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 15–20 years of experience in large-scale water/wastewater, heavy civil, or industrial construction projects preferred
  • Hands-on experience with piping systems and concrete work
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently as required by project needs
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 CPM scheduling software, Procore, and/or Bluebeam (moderate to high level preferred)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver’s license required for frequent travel
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, proportions, areas, volumes, and apply basic algebra and geometry
  • Solid understanding of construction math concepts and their practical applications
