Our client is seeking a Mobile QA Engineer in Dallas, TX.

Role Description

• We are looking for an experienced Mobile QA Engineer to ensure the quality performance and reliability of our mobile applications
• The ideal candidate should have strong experience testing iOS applications validating REST APIs and conducting performance and accessibility testing on mobile platforms
• This role requires close collaboration with developers product managers and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences
• Perform functional regression and exploratory testing for mobile applications primarily iOS and Android
• Validate and test REST APIs using tools such as Postman Swagger or similar
• Conduct mobile performance testing including app launch time memory usage CPU usage and network behavior
• Perform accessibility A11y testing to ensure compliance with accessibility standards WCAG VoiceOver testing
• Create and execute test cases test plans and test scripts
• Identify document and track bugs using tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or similar
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
• Perform device testing across multiple iPhone models and OS versions
• Participate in CICD pipelines and support automated testing processes
• Ensure apps meet App Store quality standards before release
• Strong experience in mobile testing iOS Android
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman REST Assured or similar tools
• Knowledge of mobile performance testing tools Xcode Instruments Firebase Performance etc

Skills & Requirements

• Experience with accessibility testing on iOS VoiceOver Dynamic Type contrast testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Ability to write detailed test cases and documentation
• Experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium XCTest or Detox
• Experience testing Android apps as well
• Knowledge of Charles Proxy network debugging tools
• Experience with CICD tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or Bitbucket pipelines
• Experience with security testing for mobile apps
• Experience testing payment integrations Apple Pay Google Pay
• Experience with analytics validation Firebase Mixpanel etc
• Experience in performance benchmarking for mobile applications
