Our client is seeking a Firmware Engineer in Kissimmee, FL / Glendale, CA/ Hybrid.

Role Description

• This Sr. Engineer (Firmware Engineer) will be expected to play multiple critical roles for DPEP regarding creation and implementation of new embedded devices.
• The Sr. Engineer (Firmware Engineer) will also be responsible for implementing features, bugfixes, and identifying opportunities for improvement in the firmware / driver domains of the Connected Products platforms.
• They will also be responsible for documentation and working with manufacturing partners on devising effective NPI strategies and factory testing suites. The Sr. Engineer will provide feedback on work for junior team members for design, architecture, and development activities.

Skills & Requirements

• Must possess advanced experience with C in embedded applications
• Must possess experience with RTOS, Zephyr or similar embedded toolchains
• Must possess an understanding of IoT and Edge Devices
• Must possess advanced experience with Bluetooth low energy
• Must possess hands on experience with hardware
• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science
