Position: Heavy Civil Construction Senior Superintendent

Location: New Jersey

Salary: $160k - $190k (based on experience level)

My client is a leading construction company specializing in heavy civil projects.

Their team is dedicated to delivering high-quality construction services with a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation.

They are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Senior / Superintendent to join their team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.

Supervise and manage on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction.

Expertise in excavation, site work, utilities, wet and dry utilities, sewer, watermains, and grading.

Experience in drainage and/or dewatering.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Understanding of construction industry regulations and standards.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Construction or Engineering or experience within the related field is preferred, but not required.
