This GC is a well-established name in the DMV market who are expanding their reach to other states as they work with repeat clients to continue their delivery of excellent service. Sectors covered include Corporate Interiors, SCIF & Secure Spaces, Mission Critical, Healthcare & Lab Facilities, Higher Education, Retail, Warehouse/Industrial and more. Projects are primarily in the interiors space, but there is some scope to work on ground-up/new build projects.
Your new role
As a Superintendent for this General Contractor, you will be responsible for ensuring effective project delivery on your assigned site. This will include meeting or beating project schedules and gross margin targets, creating schedules and sequencing jobs, maintaining and updating construction drawings, RFIs, daily reports, submittals, project specs, subcontractor drawings, shop drawings and preparing final as-builts. Coordinating and reviewing all onsite work whilst maintaining the highest levels of safety as per rules and regulations.
Projects will primarily be in the DMV region with some scope to travel out of state, if you are able to.What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a Superintendent within the interiors space - ideally in high-spec/complex MEP projects such as healthcare, labs, mission critical, SCIF, etc.
A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field would be beneficial, but is not a necessity.
- Familiarity with MS Office, Project or similar scheduling software.
