Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the construction of public sector projects, including schools, and government buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
  • Communication:
    Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Quality Control:
    Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
  • Problem Solving:
    Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, minimizing delays and disruptions.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on public sector, education, or federal projects.
  • Skills:
    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Certifications:
    Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are a plus.
  • Knowledge:
    In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
