Our client is seeking a Sr Procurement Analyst in Tampa, FL.

Role Description

This role is responsible for partnering with team members in support of IT category management and strategic sourcing execution for a grouping of indirect procurement of IT Services and Solutions.
The Sr. Procurement Analyst will gather, analyze, and research internal business inputs and external market intelligence to inform and develop strategies for the purchase of IT Services and Solutions such as Software, Hardware, IT Professional Services. The Sr. Analyst will also have responsibility for partnering with team members and stakeholders to execute high-value IT category transformation initiatives in accordance with the IT Category Strategy.
• Collaborate with Internal business partners to develop and implement sourcing strategies for key spend category(s). Identify and prioritize sourcing projects within spend area scope for annual category strategy plan.
• Procurement/Strategic Sourcing: Requirements gathering, market intelligence assessment, supplier qualification, project kick-off, event execution, pricing analysis, negotiations, contractual stage support
• Triaging supplier engagement requests and Supplier service agreements
• Partner with the line of business, suppliers, and legal stakeholders to ensure necessary supplier contracts are in place per the company policy.
• Support the execution of assigned IT category transformation initiatives

Skills & Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent degree, preferably in Supply Chain operations (or equivalent work experience)
• 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain & operations.
• 2-4 years of experience with the Source to Pay process
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Business Intelligence tools
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to gain a fact-based understanding of the supplier base and market trends.
