Our client is seeking a Sr Cybersecurity Engineer in Raleigh, NC/ Hybrid.
Role Description
• Provide subject matter expertise for Privileged Access Management services with strong knowledge of compliance requirements and good security practices.
• Implementation of role based access control (RBAC) for privileged user access.
• Hands-on experience with developing role build frameworks and implementation of role builds.
• Work closely with internal IT teams and Client support and engineering teams.
• Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
• Provides security and privacy guidance to product teams by aligning standards with overall business initiatives, strategies, and goals.
• Promotes security and privacy by design through effective partnership with product, strategy, and engineering teams.
• Mentor and invest in the development of team members.
• Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams throughout the company as a subject matter expert in information security with solution and implementation focus.
Skills & Requirements
• BS/BA in a related discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, etc.) and 4+ years of experience working in Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), Security Operations, design, or development across multiple security domains.
• 2+ years of experience working with enterprise-scale cloud implementations.
• At least one relevant certification – CISSP, CCSP, Cloud Specific Associate/Professional, CISM, CISA, etc..
• Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements.
• Strong scripting skills, i.e., PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc..
• Experience with CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments at scale.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
• Strong experience working on AWS Cloud platform.
• Strong understanding and/or experience with Role Based Access Control methodology.
• Knowledge of Sailpoint or other similar IAM technology.
• Demonstrated understanding what it means to draw out business needs and deliver practical outcomes addressing those needs.
• Working knowledge of designing and implementing security architectures in the enterprise.
• Working knowledge of encryption concepts and implementation methods.
• Knowledge of remote access technologies and implementation best practices.
• Telecom/Cable industry experiences a plus.
