Job Title: Senior Superintendent - Commercial Construction (Big Box Retail)
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, TX
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendent to join our team, specializing in big box retail projects within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to solve any design or construction challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on big box retail projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
