Your new role

The job entails assisting with the financial operations for property development and management, including accounting for a property portfolio and collaborating with property managers. The role requires regular financial reporting, preparation for monthly loan draws, and compliance reporting. Additionally, the candidate will manage new acquisitions onboard and prepare entries for property sales, working closely with legal professionals during the closing process. The position also involves analyzing variances, calculating taxes, and reviewing bank and CAM reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have at least 5 years of experience in property development and operations accounting. Proficiency with Yardi is preferred, along with a solid understanding of lease agreements and terms. Strong skills in Excel are also preferred. The ability to quickly learn and adapt to employer-specific web-based software is essential for success in this role.
