Our client is seeking a R&D Business Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and commercial performance of biologic therapies (e.g., monoclonal antibodies, biosimilars).
• Support business case development for new product launches, partnerships, and investments in the biologics space.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Finance to align on strategic goals.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and reports summarizing key insights, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and payer trends that impact biologics commercialization.
• Assist in pricing strategy, reimbursement planning, and go-to-market execution for biologic products.
• Use business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to create dashboards and visualizations for decision support.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a business analyst or commercial strategy role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with the biologics market landscape and commercial considerations (scientific expertise not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
• Exposure to product lifecycle management and launch planning in Pharma or Healthcare.
