Local GC is building a mission-critical team and needs an experienced QAQC manager!

Job Title: QAQC Manager - Mission Critical Projects
Location: Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The QAQC Manager will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and quality control processes for mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) elements, safety procedures, and a keen eye for quality in all aspects of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QAQC plans and procedures for mission-critical projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and approve MEP system installations and ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of QAQC activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality and safety matters.
  • Ensure all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to QAQC and safety.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QAQC management, preferably in mission-critical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their installation.
  • In-depth understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Certification in QAQC or related fields is a plus.
