Construction Project Manager - Ground-Up Projects

This Dallas-based General Contractor is looking for Project Managers with a background in commercial construction management. This Project Manager will be capable of overseeing projects from the ground up to completion. Project experience in retail, religious, K12, and/or municipal construction is highly valued. We also look favorably upon those who have handled large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.

Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of 3 years' experience as a PM managing ground up projects for a general contractor.
• Ground up/new construction experience is required.
• Commercial General Contracting experience is required.
• Formal education in construction or engineering with strong technical knowledge is highly preferred.
  PM field experience is required.
• The ability to read and understand construction documents, including project plans, specifications, shop drawings and blueprints.
• Clear understanding of the documentation and processes between the owner, architect, and contractor.
• Clear understanding of commercial construction means and methods
• Strong communication skills & leadership ability
• Must be computer-literate, preferring experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Procore and other construction-related software.
