Our client is seeking a Project Coordinator in Orlando, FL

Role Description

Project Planning and Coordination
• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and timelines and keep the Jira board organized.
• Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
Budget management
• Support in operation activities to forecast resources in Clarity MYPPM and track it.
Communication and Documentation
• Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, issue logs, and risk registers.
Resource Management
• Coordinate resources and equipment necessary for project execution.
• Assist in resource allocation and tracking to ensure optimal utilization.
Quality Assurance
• Support quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
• Assist in conducting reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement.
Risk Management
• Assist in identifying and assessing project risks.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and managing expenses.
• Assist in procurement activities as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and address their concerns in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team.
Continuous Improvement
• Participate in lessons-learned sessions and contribute to process improvements.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, technology, or proven experience (2 years) working in a project coordination or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
• Love for learning.
• Familiarity with AI: co-pilot, prompt engineering.
• Tools: Smartsheet automations, ClarityMyPPM.
