The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a PM in Vienna, VA.
Role Description
• Collaborate and negotiate with business partners and vendors to understand requirement needs and resolve any gaps or risks/issues
• PM on a dedicated team for Identity and Access Management projects
• Proactively determine next steps and best path forward based on current status and delivery dates – Key Factor
• Demonstrate a positive “can-do” attitude and create energy within the project team
• Manage project activities through all life cycles (utilizing Service Now, SharePoint, proprietary software, etc.) to ensure the best quality product is delivered
• Identify, communicate, and support resolution of technical, tactical, and operational project issues and risks
• Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for projects
• Report on project activities through verbal and written communication.
• Provide input to Annual Financial Plan (budget)
• Communicate project plan, changes, direction, approach, and priorities based on changing business requirements, circumstances, new information and/or budget considerations to stakeholders
• Facilitate project team and stakeholder meetings for the resolution of project-related issues
• Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.)
• Lead project teams in identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies
Skills & Requirements
• 10 Years IT Project Management experience is required
• 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience managing projects in Cybersecurity or Identity and Access Management space is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• An active PMP Certification is required
• Strong communicator to various levels of management required
• Budgeting and Financial management background and skills are required
• Familiarity with ADO or a similar tracking board is required
• Self-starter, who is able to work independently and work across teams and groups
• Prior experience working in the Financial Industry is desired.
• The position is full time remote but it is desired for candidate to be local to either Vienna, Virginia, Pensacola Florida
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) – Nice to Have
• Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master (SSM) – Nice to Have
• Proven experience as a PM/Scrum Master utilizing a S/W development life cycle.
• Strong focus on delivery and actively turns lessons learned into better and faster delivery methods. (Courageous servant leadership)
• SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Service Now
• Experience working with external vendors (creating RFIs and vendor selection)
• A Project Manager ensures that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget, and on time by providing leadership in planning, organizing, and controlling the work effort
• Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Excellent leadership and team coordination abilities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of risk management and process improvement techniques?
