Our client is seeking a Operational Risk Support (Director / Executive Director) in Weehawken, NJ.

Role Description

• reporting of vendor performance assessments [all bank relevant]
• Standardize reporting for affiliate’s vendor performance assessments & related info
• Design a repeatable process to obtain the data sources
• Update procedure
• Review and update RAIs – with Front Line Units specific thresholds
• Reconcile firm and divisional standard RAIs
• Design Integrated Risk Assessment templates
• Document Business Risk management and Front Line Units responsibilities in ops and compliance
• Document key process hierarchy and 3rd party dependency by FLU
• Document rationale of current practices in Reg W
• Review data lineage of LSDB/Identify gaps in Reg W

Skills & Requirements

• at least 10+ years of experience with operational risk, project management, third party management
• experience in building 1st LoD risk framework excellent written and verbal communication skills
• strong negotiation and influence skills
• proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets
• track record of successfully supporting business users with reporting & analytics, decision support, and presentation support
• ability to interact with all levels of management, multi-task and work well under pressure
• clean regulatory track record
• analytical, consultative and investigative skills and an independent, driven approach
• understanding of regulatory environment
• preferred work experience in the disciplines outlined above
• organized, analytical and able to readily interpret data, including legal and compliance-related materials
• self-confident, have strong judgment and evidence of sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
• comfortable collaborating with diverse constituencies
• proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
