About Us: This GC is looking to leave its mark on the DFW market. With over 10+ years of success in the South Florida market, this company is looking to add an experienced healthcare superintendent to oversee a large-scale medical center renovation.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with over 10 years of experience in overseeing ground-up and remodeling healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during construction.
- Ensure effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on healthcare projects.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- OSHA-30 certification or equivalent safety training is required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
