Your new company

Our client is a leading name in the automotive industry, renowned for its innovative designs and high-performance vehicles. Through an expansion in their operations, they are looking for a self-motivated and energetic Head of PR & Communications to join them in driving their brand forward in the North American market.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be crucial in planning and executing all communication, press, and media activities. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead, agency partners, and media to optimize the brand’s public perception and ensure consistent, impactful messaging.

Your new role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR and communication strategies.
  • Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and interviews.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and agency partners to align communication efforts with marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, press releases, and internal communications.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events, press conferences, and media briefings.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of extensive experience in Public Relations or Communications, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of managing media relations and working with corporate partners.
  • Strong understanding of automotive culture and markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective communication plans.
