Exciting Real Estate Team - Facilities Coordinator role in Bellevue - $65k - $85k, Med Benefits, 401k, and PTO

Your new company

Hays has partnered with a commercial 3rd party property management firm with a strong presence in Western Washington, focusing on the management of diverse assets including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily. They are actively seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support their Facilities Manager onsite at an office-style property.

Your new role

  • Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.G., heating system, alarms, security cameras).
  • Check rooms and furniture to identify needs for repairs or renovations.
  • Restock office and kitchen supplies.
  • Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building.
  • Monitor activities outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as cleaners and insurance agents.
  • Conduct cost analyzes for purchasing new systems or services.
  • Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance calls and prepare for emergencies with action plans.
  • Test building security systems and promote safety within the building.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in project management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility coordination or project management.
  • Proficiency in Facilities Management (FM) software.
  • Extensive experience in building and equipment maintenance.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules.
  • Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Express.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
