Your new role
This is an exclusive senior leadership opportunity to manage the overall regulatory compliance for the company's 17,000+ units across the United States. The Director of Compliance will be responsible for regulatory compliance and occupancy levels, working closely with corporate and regional affordable housing compliance teams. The Director of Compliance will ensure that site and portfolio level properties are compliant with affordable housing program requirements. The programs the Director of Compliance will oversee include Project Based Section 8, LIHTC, and federal, state, and local fair housing laws, to name a few. This role is 100% remote. Occasional travel across the portfolio nationally may be required.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the Director of Compliance, candidates will possess the following:

• 8+ years of experience directly overseeing affordable housing compliance nationally (12,000 unit minimum).
• Well-versed in the laws and regulations that apply to affordable housing, including the state agencies, HUD, and the IRS.
• Affordable housing certifications a plus (COS, NCP, C3P, FHC, etc.)
• Ability to analyze and read regulatory agreements, legal documents, and reports
