Configuration Management Lead- ServiceNow – Perm – Morrisville, NC. $135,000 - $160,000

Our Client is seeking a Configuration Management Lead- ServiceNow in Morrisville, NC. / Hybrid.
Role Description
Hybrid (Tu/Th in office)
• Own operational responsibilities and automate and document with a shift left focus for others to follow.
• Be the Subject Matter Expert of the company in the ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB and ITOM suite of applications supporting ongoing CMDB initiatives while adhering to the CSDM data model.
• Design and implement new functionality using Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Access Lists, Workflow Activities, Script Includes etc.
• Code enhancements in existing modules, configure and implement new modules, develop, and implement integrations and maintain the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement Integrations (SOAP / REST / Web Services) with 3rd party systems
• Own, Identify and handle CI classes, CI attributes and relationships within the CMDB and control the receipt, identification, storage, and withdrawal of all supported CI's
• Expand the functionality, scope, and accuracy of the CMDB by analyzing the feedback from operations staff and implementing various quality reports
• Perform day-to day activities including Service Request fulfilment, respond to queries; troubleshoot and resolve issues, interface maintenance, monitor jobs & performance, daily review of error logs
• Drive auditing, validating, status accounting and reporting on CMDB activities (OKR and Metric reporting)
Skills & Requirements
• 8+ years of IT relevant experience, at least 4 years on the ServiceNow platform with configuration experience.
• Good knowledge & hands on experience in ServiceNow platform: ITSM suit of modules, CMDB, CSDM, discovery, service-mapping, dashboards, and reporting
• Profound knowledge on ITSM processes defined by ITIL framework
• Experience with technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports, etc.
• ServiceNow Administrator Certificate, ITIL Foundation Level Certification is preferred.
