Job Title: Business Development Manager/Director
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex

Job Description:

I’m working with a local general contractor who has seen significant growth over the last few years. They are looking to continue that growth by hiring a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager or Director to join the DFW team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing current relationships as well as developing new ones. Your relationships within construction industry is key and they are looking for at least 5 years of local experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain / improve the existing client base to increase business
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and reports to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the construction industry in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
  • Strong understanding of the local construction market and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
