Your new role
The role requires you to work with or lead (depending on skill level) a fellow superintendent running the ground-up structures. You will be required to be a liaison between the field personnel and the client. You will be making sure that the project is running smoothly and all components are on course to be completed in a timely and profitable manner.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will need to be a solid ground up assistant superintendent with a project list of completed structures, ideally in the commercial space. You need to have a general knowledge of commercial construction and have experience performing punch lists and identifying problems that may arise on the project. You will be expected to come in and learn from the general superintendent and PM to then progress and work towards becoming a superintendent. As an assistant superintendent you will have excellent communication, be honest with progress whatever the weather, have clear decision-making skills, and want to be a part of an organization that generally loves construction.
